When I try uploading my new map to the workshop I get this error: "Error retrieving item data from steam workshop."
I have uploaded this map file to the workshop before to test with my friends. I deleted it from the workshop and im assuming that is whats causing this error. I have no way to fix this, I've even moved the entire map to a new .map file and renaming the map and it still gives me this error. Any help as soon as possible would be very, very much appreciated. been trying to fix this for hours..! :alone:

pcdev_assist gave me a solution! You need to delete the Workshop.json file in your map file folder!

Was your solution the same as what I said? Because now when I try and publish, its saying it can't update the workshop even though I don't have anything on there to update :(

I've been trying to get past this mess of errors for 2 weeks now, same problem here. someone said that the thumbnail has to be .PNG and has to have a resolution of 500x500, and while I don't doubt it was another problem, it did nothing to help

I hate to say it but it's ruining my motivation to keep working on my map

Sorry to bump such an old thread. You can find the file here:

.\Call of Duty Black Ops III\usermaps\%yourmapname%\zone

Replace %yourmapname% with the name of your map. Took me a while to find it so I thought I would post.
