Using the Steam version of WaW and I bought a new laptop recently. On my old laptop, the installer worked no problem, but with my current one, when using the installer I get the following pop up notification:

When i try to open the manager, the "UGX Map Updater Wforms" crashes. How do i fix this?

When i try to launch i get a "cannot connect to the internet" error, i made an exception in my firewall for it, and my connection to the internet is solid, any theories as to why this is happening?

The majority of the users has no problems.

The developers behind the application either resigned or are not very active atm.

Usually this issue is caused by security application which blocks the internet traffic of the application (firewall, anti virus or malware, network router).

It works fine on my end and I asked other ones and they don't have the issue either.

Make sure your firewall, antivirus, etc are not blocking the connection for UGX Map Manager.  

It says my firewall is blocking it and despite exceptions and temporarily disabling it it still says firewall is still blocking

I can't access the map manager, it keeps saying that I can't connect to it, despite it being the beginning of January. Hasn't the bandwidth reset??
