The .EXE is an installer, have you launched the installer and let it install the map? If so check if it is placing the map's folder in "C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\local\Activision\CoDWaW\mods". If not make sure you are running the installer as an administrator by right clicking on the .EXE and clicking "Run as Administrator".

Allow the program through your anti-virus, it is not malware I assure you.

I have a problem with installing exe files and they don't show in my mod folder can these exe files be unzipped so I can put them in my mods folder with the other working maps??

The installers purpose is to unzip files and place them in a specific directory. First ensure you are running the installer as an administrator, otherwise it may not have permission to place files inside your mods folder. Second ensure you have the correct registry keys that are used to detect the correct folder on your system. If you do not know what that means download the UGX Weapons Editor and use the CodWaW Registry Repair tool under "Tools".

Once the mod is launched you need to type "map *MAPNAME*" in the console. *MAPNAME* being the name of the map you are attempting to play. Ex: "map nazi_zombie_420".

Even though Norton says the program is safe it is still possible that the norton or windows firewall is blocking the program's connection to our server. Please make sure you have taken the necessary steps to allow UGX Map Manager.exe through all of your firewall(s).
