ENCAMPMENT V2: BLACK OPS 3 MOD

Encampment V2 - Black Ops 3 Mod - by ProRevenge (T4M REQUIRED)

 Shout out to HarryBo21 for all his assistance with this update, with perk scripts and many more, and working non stop to help fix co op issues we had :D You da man Harry!

 Note: Due to T4M, the Map may give bugged textures on load, to fix this, simply launch the map with your texture settings set to "high" instead of "extra", when in game, they can be changed back to extra without issue, although I recommend turning Specular Maps and Shadows off before changing texture settings, as changing them in game has a tendency to make WaW crash, after they are set to extra, turn Specs and Shadows back on

 This is a huge update for my map "Encampment" Released nearly a year ago, featuring:
 - Vision and aesthetic overhaul
 - HarryBo21's Perks V 5.2.0
 - Lots of Black Ops 3 Weapons added, including Supply Drop weapons
 - Some of the older guns in the mod have been retextured to be better
 - Weaponfiles as close to originals as possible
 - BO3-Like HUD, including Round Counter, and Point Counter on the left
 - BO3 Double PAP Ammo Types added
 - Improved detail and texturing
 - Remapped some areas of the map
 - New Pack A Punch area
 - Power and Pack A Punch no longer need to be built
 - A New Special Round - Never before seen in Customs
 - A New Wonder Weapon
 - Improved ambience and atmosphere
 - A backing soundtrack
 - ZNS Zombie Shield
 - Challenges added, with a reward
 - Capped Zombie Numbers in higher rounds

 Map Notes: The map is made for Survival and general fun, rather than EE hunting, there is no buyable ending, as they are not what Zombies is about.
 The Idle Downed animation sometimes bugs out, we tried for hours to fix this to no avail, it doesn't affect gameplay, so we left it alone
Claymores are currently bugged

This is my 3rd map, created for the UGX mapping contest, I have spent around 3 months on it, and I hope you enjoy it!

Special credit goes to HarryBo21, this map would not have been possible without your help and input :D

FEATURES:
A multitude of weapons from BO1,BO2,BO3,MW2,MW3,Ghosts and BF4
Dual Wield weapons
9 randomly spawning perks
Buildables - Power, Zombie Shield and Pack a Punch
Shrieker zombie
Origins and Shangri-La zombie models, spawning in their own areas
Jungle theme and atmosphere - Thunderstorm atmosphere too
New Powerups - Zombie Cash, Bonfire Sale and Random Perk
BO3 Pack a Punch fire sounds
Custom Font and HUD
The Scavenger, the Ray Gun, the Ray Gun Mark II and the Blundergat feature as Wonder Weapons
Capped zombie numbers, to make higher rounds (30/40+) go faster
Walking zombies in higher rounds, like BO2
Toggleable Hitmarkers (Host operated in co op)

Easter Egg song - Copyright free - "Beauty of Annihilation - The Giant Remix"

NOTES:
- The map is geared more towards survival and high rounds, than EE hunting
- A few features shown in the WIP were cut, due to time constraints and other issues
- There is no major EE, for reasons as above
- No buyable ending, as I don't like them, want an ending? Set yourself a point goal or something, that's all endings achieve anyway :P
- There is a 4 perk limit, to get more, you must rely on the Random Perk bottle drops


KNOWN ISSUES:
There are a few issues I do not have the time or the knowhow to fix:
The Ray Gun Mark II will occasionally leave 2 impact FXes
Zombies may sometimes derp out in some spots, I think ive eliminated them all, but beware
The Mystery Box has no open sound, The sound just refuses to work at all for me
The first Mystery Box Teddybear Laugh sound doesn't play, same as above
Some Upgraded Dual Wield guns may show 2 shell ejects from the left gun

The map was boring. It looked good, but it was boring. Please spend more time on features (at least some buyable ending), and I wouldn't mind if this means less time spent on aesthetics. In the end, the map colors all looked the same and just gave me a hard time looking for parts across the entire map, which was a huge chore. Finding parts should be a challenge, but not a chore.

It was for a "contest" remember, it had a "close date"

And "I" did the features, not him. Some had to be removed before release as we couldnt meet the deadline - and client side issues for prorevenge literally cannot be fixed. Weve tried everything - so had to remove the dogs and animated box, there was a bug with the retriever stoping you getting it after down, and i was at work therefore could not fix it - so again cut

would you rather we just left a bunch of rushed, non functional buggy features? And i take extreme distaste to claiming that i "spent too little time" on my features - the perks alone were over a fricking year!

Hes the mapper - im the scripter - and his mapping was stunning - hence why it won "second" place mate

and the "point" of hiding the parts was that they are "hidden"

Where are those maps you've been working on for some time again? and where are those complex scripts?....

We're not 3arch, we're not EA and we're not Ubistoft, we're not on high budgets, we don't have billions of assets that can be made at our disposal, this map was made by someone in their spare time and is amazing.  And spend more time on features?? Emphasis on what Harry said, he's been helping the community for ages now, you obviously haven't seen his features that he has released or helped people with...

Jeez you don't need 3 replies to give me the message, I got it already. And I'm sorry for being rude, but after having seen a lot of bigger Easter Eggs on some other maps, I just had even higher expectations for the newest maps. I also apologize for not understanding how long it takes to map cuz I haven't done anything like that yet, I just thought at least a simple buyable ending wouldn't have taken long.

funny, coz i wrote "thanks scoba" and this is a "public" topic not a "raspica Blue" topic ???

and not every map needs a easter egg, as is clearly stated, this is a "survival" map

Has something to do with users with 0 experience slating a map or feature on the very first post on its release and complaining about things like "our choice" on where we place things and what we chose to add without saying anything even remotely constructive other than "try harder"... dunno why we bother

You don't know Pro then, if I remember correctly he despises buyable endings, that's even why he went to the length of making it an "easter egg" in NDU Re-imagined. :D

Yeah, then I don't know Pro. Still not sure about the reasoning behind hating buyable endings, but if the mapper doesn't include them in his maps cuz he hates them, then I would understand why there wouldn't be any. Thanks for telling me that, at least. And sorry for not reading everything before playing the map.

because all you do is press X

you could save 50,000 and press start - go to end game - and get the exact same result

getting points is possibly the "least" challenging aspect of zombies if you are actually "trying" to get points

Zombies to me is and always has been an ENDLESS survival game mode. The objective of the game is to survive as many rounds as you possibly can. Points are there to buy things, they arent the objective.
There has never been a buyable ending in a 3arc map, and in my maps I try and stay as close to the 3arc formula as I can.
Dont get me wrong, Im open to innovation and new ideas, but when they mess with the core survival aspects of zombies, im out.

That's a good point, but it's still fun to see some special message pop up on a real buyable ending or on some of the more elaborate maps developed by a small team of mappers, a few random fireworks just for the shizz

There's still something different about the mapper himself writing a message for the player, but that's just me. And I do have my criticisms on the 3arc zombies devs (plenty of them, actually), just that I don't feel like this thread is the place to say them.

There is a very weird bug where if you get the MP7 (or PaP MP7..not sure) You're able to get unlimited weapons, with no Cap. I was running around with like 10 weapons all PAP. This is what I think caused the bug and its happened twice. Could be something else but this is what i've come across

Well there will be "a" cause for the issue, but it wont be down to a specific gun

Itll be something else youve interacted with at some point, but i dont know what yet, we havent figured it out

It IS the Pap MP7, since its using alt weapon for the 2 scopes, I have a small update in the works, this will be fixed.
I will just have iron sights on PAP Mp7 and it will be fixed

I didnt modify any script, just used the alt weapon feature, so saapping out the _upgraded2 scope weaponfile will cause issues, ill remove it so its just the one normal upgraded weaponfile.

As for leaderboards, ill update when im on my Pc

Ok I think  get what you mean

If you still wanted to use the two weaponfiles tho you can

Just need to add a check for that "specific" gun, and give you whatever one you didnt "already" have ( like in BO2, the double papping )

Nothing major at all, simply fixes the buildable hintstrings, adds new mark 2 shot fx, and fixes an infinite weapon bug stemming from the PAP MP7

It works, just doesn't work with forum embedding so there is </br> or something at the end causing it to mess up.

Dont know exactly how it works, but maybe you can take this as a map base, just changing weather, PAP Camo (not my favorite one :please:), Replace some guns, change/add new areas and traps, changethe jungle theme to labs, town or even adapt to a vietam theme, like in BO1 :nyan:

Btw, I though you should add some traps, at least one electric in this final update, but whatever ::)

Theres a huge glitch with Mule Kick on this map. If you have Mule Kick and you turn the power off and on again, it will give you your three guns back +and extra slot for a fourth gun. If you keep doing this, you can have every single gun on the map :D

I just downloaded and it still gives the hintstring to me for deactivating power :).

Love the map though! Very very detailed, not too hard but not easy, good variety of weapons and overall a fantastic map.

Its Ok Roxas i dont need , i went for a basic run and i got to round 30 :D Its a really fun ! I also thought of a challange restricted to this . I give this  9/10. In my opinion it needs a bit more BO3 guns and drops needs to be buffed in the higher rounds because i found it impossible to get Max Ammo on rounds 20-30 but it just adds to the challange in that perspective :) Overall its a great  and its really fun to play, and Pro did a good job NOT adding a buyable ending, making it a great survival . It took me a few tries to get a good start to go for a higher round because i kept getting nukes on my first kill on the 1st round. Now for the challange:

Challange Name: Feeling Lucky?

Challange: The challange is really simple, you are not allowed to buy perks (EXCEPT QUICK REVIVE IF YOU ARE PLAYING SOLO!), the way you get perks is by Perk Drops. You are only allowed to roll the box 2 times. You can use any wall weapon you want but you must keep 1 weapon you got out of the box. You are allowed to use buildables and traps (Automatic Turret, if thats a trap...).

Challange Difficulty: Very Hard

Challange Description: In this challange you are depending on your luck and your skill. You can get 4 perk bottles untill round 15 but depends on your luck, same thing with which perks you get. Same thing for the box, you have to find it and then you are allowed to roll it 2 times, you can replace 1 weapon from the box with a wall weapon if you wish to. Altho, you are not allowed to replace both guns you got out of the box. Soo, are you Feeling Lucky?

Still my top 3 maps ever (As i say when you release it for the competition). Just don't forget to fix the bonifications on high rounds, change that awful PAP Camo, Fix the sound on perks when are randomized and make the PAP machine random during the game (Like CotD).

plural -s

    :  betterment of housing conditions and farming practices in a particular area (such as a malarial area)

So fix that on high rounds ;D

-About the perks; I was refering to the jingle that sounds on the random perk machine. Have to sound a bit louder.
-PaP camo are fine, but i dont like it (Thank god you gonna change it).
-Bonification (x2 points, Max ammo, Nuke, random perk bottles, Insta Kill...)

No, Dont use T4M:
Means I have to fight to fix the image limit, and not too many more guns, since im probably not far off memory limit, less Bo3 guns, less asset heavy features in total, but runs for all users and minimal chance of texture glitches


Tl;dr - Do I use T4M and load up on Bo3 guns or stick with no T4M and what I can squeeze in.

Means I have to fight to fix the image limit, and not too many more guns, since im probably not far off memory limit, less Bo3 guns, less asset heavy features in total, but runs for all users and minimal chance of texture glitches


Tl;dr - Do I use T4M and load up on Bo3 guns or stick with no T4M and what I can squeeze in.

Ive added a poll for people to give their opinion!

Map has already been enjoyed without T4M, time for a bigger better update with T4M :gusta:.

That's not Pro's fault, that is your PC's, the map runs about 91FPS for me at 1080p.

The update is gonna be more detailed than this version :)

If you want poor spec capable maps, there are plenty of box maps out there :)

Because it was released online, my version has proper textures with full specular maps, and the fixed magazine (The released HG40 has its mag in straight, rather than angled)
I have been sharing a lot of my BO3 gun ports too, so chances are you have seen or will see them in other maps

Revelations isn't out on PC for another 3 weeks, if you fancy waiting that long...

You can still use T4M with the DVD version of the game. You just need to download the LanFix.

Shield Glass has some extreme tint ( this was inside of the Shield room itself)

claymores seem to not look lihe they're facing the way you placed them, but they explode when triggered from the direction you placed them.

After they explode, the Claymores seem to leave their lasers behind

And this is just a personal note, not anything Gamebreaking, but I feel as if the PAP camo isn't very appealing. I think a Swampy version of the Origins Camo would've been pretty cool, but hey, it's your map, you make the calls.

The Claymores I'm aware of, just had the map uploaded and ready to go when it was found, wasn't gonna update straight away.

I WILL probably do a bug fix update sometime later this week, but if it doesn't happen then, chances are it wont happen as I start University next week and wont have time for this.

Shield in table I'm aware of, no idea of cause, purely cosmetic, doesn't affect anything

Ambient Music is meant to play all the time

Shield glass I will fix in update

Challenge issue is due to how WaW handles headshots, Harry's script tracks them from the scripts, so Harry's is correct, the leaderboard has issues counting Pistol headshots, penetration headshots, and generally doesn't track as well as the script.

Downed icon is due to how we were trying to fix the downed animation in co op, again, purely cosmetic, doesn't affect anything

PAP Camo looks great to me, considering WaW has limited possibilities with its materials, it looks better in lit up areas than inside due to how it uses spec and cosine maps for the main detail

Glad you are enjoying the map though :)

About Warehouse, it will never get released, I had SO many issues with it I couldn't be bothered anymore, it was something I mapped when I wanted something to work on, and it was never gonna be a full scale project.
Sadly you will never see the map release :(

Okay, I really like this map. Its nice to have a map that is all about survival instead having all thee objectives ( not that those maps aren't unbelievably fun). I don't want to sound like the FPS complainer, but all the maps I have had FPS issues with are ones that have an excessive amount of foliage and trees. I don't have the best laptop, but I can play most of the T4M and non-T4M maps with a great FPS, with the exception of ones with a lot of grass and trees, like Aztec or Celerium. I'm not saying take out all the grass, just the unnecessary ones, like the tall patch of grass that clips through the quick revive. Don't want to sound like a complainer, and don't want the layout and design to be changed in anyway, just less grass.  :alone: (https://)

Was running around with Relaxing on +25 round and he had genius idea of using Turned. One of the fuckers came down to PaP room while I was PaPing and he smacked me to another dimension, restarting the match, RIP. Dude, this map is absolutely amazing. It's great to see how much effort you put in transforming one of your older maps into a gorgeous "BO3" type male. When I launched the map I was amazed at how well it looked and played. Because of the atmosphereI was engrossed in the map and wanted to play it more and more. It felt like a good mash of Shi No Numa, ShangriLa, and Zetsubou.

Also who cares about buyable endings. I see them, I grab them, I never play the map again. I actually want to keep playing this map.

EDIT: Dropped the minimum round for leaderboard down to 30 for now, it was higher originally so I didnt have to keep updating all the time, but for a few weeks it can stay as 30 so people have a chance to get on the leaderboard :)

Fantastic update. An improvement in almost every way... key word here being almost.

Don't get me wrong! I love that this is basically BO3 zombies and for that I have to applaud you for it! However, I've noticed some bugs. One in particular being Turned.

I know some other guy posted about a Turned zombie aggroing on to him (like me... quite a few times), but my game didn't just restart. I took a couple hits and was able to run away from them long enough for them to die. Near Round 25 though, I shot a zombie directly in front of me, it became a Turned zombie, and it one hit KO'd me. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper.

Also as someone else has mentioned, the challenges seem to incorrectly count your score, headshots, & kills. It worked fine for the shrieker zombie, but for the other ones I was getting conflicting numbers.

Other than those two bugs though, I love what you have done with the map. High quality work as always man. Keep it up!

No limit = way too easy and boring
Perk drops = can only use them once
With slots, you can rebuy more than 4 perks after downing

great map its really fun but why have a script to kick out players for infinite ammo? seems really lame punishing people who want to goof around an have fun just playing with weapons an doing what they want in solo.

Richard Jacket, WizardBath, and I managed to reach Round 30 before the game just faded and restarted, this actually happens frequently. I imagine this is similar to how in campaign Co-op getting run over by a tank would kill a player instantly and force a restart, but I really have no idea what really causes this.

Guess some people just don't have time, I only beat it by two but it was 3 in the morning on a school night. Could have easily gone longer when each round only lasting 5 minutes but having to re hit the box every round gets annoying real fast.

i know how to play properly....ive been playing zombies since CoD 2 when it was a mod an have played alot of WaW BO1 an BO2 zombies as i said i like to mess around an just chill shooting zombies with the weapons in the map without worring about ammo or whatever...im sure you've used cheats in some of the games you have played aswell maybe not WaW but GTA skyrim minecraft or whatever. but its oh well moved on to other games now as CoD zombies are boring as of late.

But the shield is sometimes a bit buggy :| Mine never broke when i was playing for 30 ruonds but it didn't protected me

And the Apothican Servant (spelling?) troll was hard for me to find out (took me around 150000 points  :please: )

But still one of the greatest Maps ive ever seen keep up the good work man :)

tbh im kind of a cheater and I like to use devmap but cheats aren't enabled... BUT it is a really good map (because i like the bo3 guns  :poker:) but at the same time it is REALLY challenging for new players (for me for example) I stopped playing at like round 10 cause I kinda got bored of it but... yeah

It's really just up to the person that makes the map, if you ask and they decline, oh well, there's no point in going on about it. I get wanting to screw around, but you can understand why someone wouldn't want people to just break the balance of the map that they so meticulously tested and made over countless hours. There are plenty of maps that you can cheat on, why focus on just one out of many because it doesn't have a certain feature?

I actually made a google docs file for the amount of zombies each round (Don't ask, I'm weird). It was a average of 276 zombies each round after 30 until 60. Would take about 5 minutes a round with the Apothicon Servant. Problem was getting ammo for the thing. The scavenger was a 4 hit at around 55 which I thought was hilarious.

It's the mappers choice to add a anti cheat or not.  Some mappers would not like people cheating on their maps. :please:  There is no need to get mad :(

HI guys me again :D

I am now on 75 and that only because i got Apothicon Servant on first hit :) but anyways i found a few bugs (not really hamfull to the actual game):
The shriker Zombies on 50+ rounds are so hilarious strong :| and it is not very funny because i died from one of them rge second time now :(
Also after my last down my perslots only display 1 of 3 perks i am using which is really weird because they work very fine
Another issue i want ro talk about is that the drops in my game are so rare i think i did not get one of them the last 15 rounds :| and its a bit anoying couse then i have to play with deadwire and the roundtime is around 9 mins instead of 4 with Aphoticon Servant

But anyways its really great to play it
also I had no problems with the zombie count as other people i always need 9-10 mins with deadwire
And i think i will post my dethround soon couse no QR left Kappa

I'm talking only about myself concerning cheats but what I do is I use the Give All command to see all the guns in the map. That's why he probably wants cheats and unfortunately the best maps with the best gun mods have cheats disabled by default   :D

(btw where the hell is the pap I can't find it inside the map and I highly doubt it's outside XD)

hit the nail on the head XD when i download a map i spend 10-20 mins if possiable using give all to check what weapons are in the map first an just play with them testing out the recoil an such since ive never play 3 zombies an only have played transit on BO2 since im a pleb an own no DLC on PC but its cool i get that people dont want people to cheat there map they put months of work into.

Yes.
The only difference the Servant has to other guns is its limited to One player in a co op game, it has no weighting or other scripts affecting its chances from the box

Reason I Suicided: I had school tomorrow .-. and rolling power outages >.>(it was storming like crazy this morning)

First of all, this is one of my all time favorite maps and my first custom map 100. The shrieker was op af after round 50 lol so the only way to kill it was to wait for the ujoth to close because it kills the zombies around it including the shrieker. I ran a fairly odd strategy that I used  from 23-110. It wasn't the fastest but was amazing for saving ammo. Well... after Round 60, It takes several scavenger shots to kill the shrieker.( Also Leaves Zombie Crawlers )

Not saying to port any new guns( I like the map as it is ) but killing the shrieker with the ujoth is like a 2-step thing.

First of all, this is one of my all time favorite map and my first custom map 100. The shrieker was op af after round 50 lol so the only way to kill it was to wait for the ujoth to close because it kills the zombies around it including the shrieker. I ran a fairly odd strategy that I used  from 23-110. It wasn't the fastest but was amazing for saving ammo. I am fully aware of the Servant's end blast killing the Shrieker, its a loophole in the Servant script, I left it in on purpose however, otherwise there would simply be no way to kill the Shrieker on high rounds, so you used the correct method

I couldnt care if a map had a 27 step super EE with a massive reward and endgame, if the gameplay of the map is bad, I wont enjoy it

I prefer highrounds over eastereggs. Ragnarok is a pretty fun map with the perk porternade (GOSH THAT PERK IS SO FUN TO PLAY WITH). The swords are pretty op and the raygun mk3 is amazing.
It's a really hard map when it comes to high rounds.. The boss at round 15 and so on takes likes half an hour to kill and those missles can 1 hit u even with phd lol...if there is a way to avoid the boss battles somebody tell mee

I think I am done, that was my 4th try and if I beat it you'll be right there to beat it again. My strategy was terrible as I went down 4 times the exact same way. Was fun trying todo it. But hey if you wanna play together I bet we can beat some records.

My main motive before that was to pointwhore like crazy and find the buyable ending til i saw his nacht game... got me thinking that i should attempt custom map high rounds. Moving to the real reason, *COUGH* i plan on beating some of his records seeing that no one even got as far as him(hope hes not reading this)
He must be bored seeing no one breaking his records lately

Thanks for that tip! and props to Harry for finding that out  :). Usually somewhere around 80 is where i usually get freezes or Gspawn errors on some maps. I really enjoyed Encampment and my last attempt on this map will probably to get to 120+ and to see if i can potentially hit and insta kill round ( if thats even possible) lol

I downloaded this map, reached round 18 but due to my potato laptop, it was lagging constantly haha! So fun, I'll rate a 9.1/10. Man that MR6 port is perfect, I'm stuck here at the textures on GIMP since I wanted to do the same thing, porting BO3's SOE perk jingles, every gun, double pap ammo types, etc. and also the movement system but kinda tricky if you ask me. Finally, ive been able to play this map in coop. Heres what i did.

I remove(move to other location) all maps in the mods folder. Play the game as usual.

Maybe it crash because of too many entities being loaded?

Anyway, nice map. had a blast.

I like this map!
I don't find it repetitive and after round 28 the rounds just skyrocket like they're never ending. You've got the shield, bo3 guns, the mar astagua, the scavenger, the raygun, the mark 2 , the blundergat and not to mention some of them you can even give elemental pap to, and that takes time!

Keep going with it, though, as fresh content would be really interesting!

Ofc, the map was well done. Even i Didnt think id be able to get 215 after downing on 62.
 Waking up my pc after 214 and having it stopped running shocked me a lil,

Anyways, i kept my promise on hitting instas on your map. I'll reattempt it when someone potentially beats it. (and i might know who it is  ;) )

Well, that took longer than it should've :P . Dunno if it counts for much at this point, but here it is anyways! Round 29 went on for a really long time (like, I had 5x the amount of zombies from round 28), but hey, I saw there was a first room challenge thing, and, late as I am, I wanted to finally try it out after so long. I really liked your first room design, too, it was not too intense nor too lax.

Can't wait to actually explore the rest of the map now lol.

Really loving this map.  The weapon ports are top-notch, and I simply love BO3's futurized WWII weapons.  One problem though: I can't seem to figure out where the PaP is.  I saw a video and Pap appeared to be on one of the perk spawns, but I don't have any perk spawns left and I've yet to find the pap around the map.  Am I missing something?  Is there a somewhat obscure perk spawn or room or something?  I really want the full experience here despite my ineptitude.  Again, amazing map, solid gameplay, the "lack of EEs" really doesn't hurt the map in any way.  Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give.

Near the weevil wallbuy there are 2 debris. The Brick wall near the couch is where PaP is. =)

proRevenge is there a reason why the view is all black with the shield on ?  Nevermind I found the reason it only happens when the fov is over 80 . actually I retested it , it does that close to the power outside only

Lol. Without endings, then Zombies truly is a 'waste' of time. xD Playing on and on and on. But this is a Beautiful map! Love it. Only wish I could enjoy it, cuz of massive frame droppage. PC specs say it shouldn't be like that... but it is.

not really the whole principle of the game has always been "tower defense" - which is "last as long as you can with ever growing difficulty"

It was a joke. Lmao. :D Also... If you are ever to make any updates to this map. Might I suggest you add grenade buyables (anywhere, doesn't matter). Cuz it kinda 'debunks' the point of Widow's Wine, it's kind of a pointless perk without it. Just trying to be constructive here.

Exactly. And if you meant buyable widows wine grenades then that would be incredibly overpowered.

Honestly, the actual BO3 one was kinda dumb. Cuz the spider things de-spawn in like 5 seconds. And you get hit way too often to make up for all the 'lost' nades. You can only get nades back from stunned zombies, that have a 'chance' to drop the spider drop. And it makes it hard to regain them, when you're always gonna get hit no matter what, trying to train the zombies. And it's just the 'one' zombie that hit you, that's stunned. Meanwhile entire horde is behind you, you ain't got time to worry about that 'one' zombie, wasted nade. Now replay that One zombie thing, 4 times. Now you outta nades...

FYI: Just cuz I call BO3's Widow's Wine dumb, does not mean I'm calling your map dumb... :/

you don't necessarily need widows wine to actually play the map :poker:. Preference is preference.  ;D

It's not working... Neither from the desktop shortcut nor ingame. it loads the menu screen from the mod, but when i click ''play solo'' it starts loading and after a few seconds it crashes (sorry for the bad english, i'm italian)

you need to install t4m, if you have then turn down your graphics like textures or resolution.

a - there are no gobble gums that im aware of that "regenerate grenades"

b - widows doesnt hit "one" zombie, it hits all zombies in "range" so likely hood of getting hit twice is minimal, and thats why the ratio for spider drops is low and quick, coz potentially a bunch can spawn at once - i rarely run out

c - widows has a cool down, it cannot trigger multiple times in a row, there needs to be a second at least between them

d - if your getting hit "all the time" while training zombies, your doing something wrong my friend. Sounds like you just want some kind of permanent shield lol

e - buyable widows grenades would not only break the game, as they are not on the wall - for a reason ( it would be a redundant wall buy to those without it for one, and massivly over powered for those that do ) - but also make you invincible, just stand there buying and throwing them and you will literally survive forever

f - you can buy "regular grenades" on only "some" maps

g - the maps that "do" allow you to buy more grenades, only allow you to buy normal grenades coz they are no where near as powerful as widows grenades

For (a.) I meant gobblegums that generate max ammos.

For (b.) I meant the offchance a zombie spawning somewhere in front of you that interrupts your training pattern. Especially in a mod for BO3 mechanics. They made zombies hit you faster than any other CoD zombies, in BO3 to make it harder. That's why you're a 3 hit-down without jugg, starting off in normal BO3. So it's inevitable to get hit, wasting a nade on one offchance zombie. And if you've played Encampent... Even the most spaced out zone in the map doesn't have the most space in the world. :/ That and the genius of the mapmaker meticulously placing zombie spawns in just the right places, so that they come from all directions, and surround you easier. (My method of training involves alot of doubling back because of this...)

For (d.) See (b.) 'My friend' :P

For (e.) I don't really think you'd survive forever... A gathering, ever-growing wall of zombies ever so slowly creeping towards you, not dying so easily in high rounds, trapping you in the corner. Sounds OP enough to me. OP enough that I wouldn't want to camp in that corner. Maybe do laps around the whole map and swing by there to grab some every so often. But ok, understandable.

(f.) When ya see the letters come out, it's on ;) Ya just know the debate is heating up and getting real.

Despite how many wonder weapons that are in this map we don't really need any more, and what's wrong with the challenges here? I agree that they are not hard but they do take a long time to complete which in my books balance it out just fine.
