Description
I have been working on this map for about 1-2 months now.  Been working my hardest on my map due to my last map not the best map ever.  All guns have close to the weapon files that was in the games the guns came from.  All guns have sounds reload sounds fire sounds etc... Most guns use custom sounds that i made my self.  Any feedback or comments on the map then post down below or any bug you find in the map :)

Features of the map
Over 60 custom guns
Custom guns from other games then Call of duty
Mw2 Guns
Cod2 gun
Mw3 Guns
Bo1 guns
Custom wonder weapons
WAW Guns
Black ops 1 perks
Thundergun from black ops 1
Some what detailed map
FOV Slider (Options & Controls/Game Options then change the slider that says FOV)
No Pack a Punch but guns have a little bit more damage so they are not use less on higher rounds :(

Really fun map. Was great to hear Dempsey saying stuff he hasn't said in a long time...some of which I have never heard...gave me a chuckle. Challenging but not too bad solo. Love the range of weapons and the new sounds are great

I get the error "exceeded limit of 400 "fx" assets" everytime I start up the map. I have tried re-installing just so you know

Great map. It stands up well to CPH, and it proved to be harder because of the tight interior and lack of training rooms. The weapons sounded great (MP412 sounded a bit week, but the reload sound was spot on).

The only thing I found was  that the zombies didn't like the room in front of the Trench Gun debris. I personally didn't like the sprinter's speed; I nearly shit myself when I first saw one coming at me.

Also, the FAL was really OP for $600  ;)

Well this was the 4th map I was enrolled in beta testing and they released it before i even tested.

1st map: CPH, was enrolled for beta for 2 months didnt even get assigned a copy.
2nd map:*forgot which one* was enrolled, accidently quit beta, reassigned. day later Released
3rd map:* forgot which one* was enrolled, 3 hours later released
4th map: this, was enrolled yesterday. guess what? released

so I give up trying to help with beta testing

I see what you mean about the zombies.  Should be fix now in the trench gun room and at the debris.  If you find anymore post on this topic ;) thanks for finding this bug :) 

On a site note this bug will not big fix till i release the update but that will come out after people find more bugs  ;)

I agree with DamianoTBM: the sprinters do have a weird animation that makes them seem larger than the other zombies when they're running at you.

I also found another pathing issue near the back wall of the staminup room and one by the stairs (a zombie was in a continuous loop of falling down the stairs then running back up until I shot him).

Still a spectacular map, and I can't wait for the next version.  8)

 :o  < Is all i can say me and my friends and the beta testers said a 35000k ending was too much and the map was to hard for that.  But i will take note of the bugs you found i am sure that it should be fix in next update but good job. :)

No I don't. My strategy is to get the FnFal and then hold up in the Staminup room. In this run I also grabbed the MP443, which I used to soften up zombs. I grabbed the M1927 after unlocking the door.

I don't even know how to get unlimited ammo.

Cowman, I have to say after playing the map, this is a massive improvement since bridge. There was a couple bugs I noticed, which others pointed out, but keep it up, im sure you will be a great mapper if you keep working hard :D. And you should leave those weird sprinting zombies in. They are funny to watch :D

lol ya those were the brutus anims, they dont really work with the normal zombie models, it kinda stretches their arms but thats it :P

I will fix the bugs in the v1.0 that has been found about 90% of the bugs found are now fix but i will be going a away for a little bit and i will only have a laptop that takes 2 times longer to do everything.  But i did most of the bug fixing on my desktop so i will have to beta test it on my laptop and make sure the update is done.  Then i will release it but i will wait a 2 more weeks or more to update this map due to i don't want to make 10 updates :P

I went through it on co-op, and 20000 seemed to be alittle low for the ending. Also the lack of a pack-a-punch was kind of dissapointing.

I think it depends on what strategy you use. Hitting the box is in the long run a bad idea because the guns run out of ammo quickly, but at the same time it's hard to get ammo for wall weapons when you have the sprinters coming at you. I do agree though; once you get the hang of the map, 20000 is way too low.  :-\

The PaP not being there there wasn't too bad because the weapons do drop the zombies (I still want it though  :rainbow: )

Not sure if it is a low ending cost... But i added a poll to see what other people think thanks :)

Things change or fix in v1.1

  • Mw2 Fal has less ammo not 160 anymore now 80 left due to open power
  • The pathnoding should be fix
  • Added a little bit of detail in some parts of the map
  • Zombies climbing up the stairs bug where they would fall off should be fix.
  • Anything else people said should be fix as well

Oh... I didn't expect that. I never saw it as that, I view PaP as a way to either have more fun with awesome weapons (ex. Dead Ship) or to get a little help completing a difficult map (also Dead Ship).

I think (and this is just my humble opinion) that for your map, PaP could be an awesome addition because it would allow a player not to get points faster (because PaP really does the opposite), but to get to live a little longer and really get to know the map, not just one room. Your map is excellent, with a tight layout and little room for training. However, that mean that players don't really get to explore and try out new areas.

I guess what I'm trying to say is if you add PaP, it'll give players the option to stick around and try out alot more weapons rather than just go for the ending. And this coupled with an enlargement of the Staminup room would allow players to actually feel the need to get staminup and give them more options.

Good map! But unfortunately when i played it juggernog disappeared from my perks bar even after i had bought it. No i didnt go down it just randomly disappeared. Any idea what happened?

Bugs found:
When being revived solo, zombies still walk towards you, so you die after being revived.

Opinion/feedback:
Very fun map! One of my favs, love verruct atmosphere.
Please add more roundabouts, like the one on the bottom floor. - Maybe jug room? Bigger too.
Personally, I'd replace the soda machines with something more 50s nostalgic (custom, no brand, that looks tacky)
Maybe remove flat screens and replace with old 50s tubes, and replace 90s pcs with papers (give that classic zombie feel).

The fallout alien blaster is a nice easter egg btw :)

Bugs found:
When being revived solo, zombies still walk towards you, so you die after being revived.

Opinion/feedback:
Very fun map! One of my favs, love verruct atmosphere.
Please add more roundabouts, like the one on the bottom floor. - Maybe jug room? Bigger too.
Personally, I'd replace the soda machines with something more 50s nostalgic (custom, no brand, that looks tacky)
Maybe remove flat screens and replace with old 50s tubes, and replace 90s pcs with papers (give that classic zombie feel).

The fallout alien blaster is a nice easter egg btw :)

LOVE this map Cowman! A few suggestions for your update, if its not too late...

1) 30K ending on solo 60K on co-op

2) Add Pack-A-Punch that just adds attachments to the guns as an alternative to increasing damage, since you said earlier that you didnt have P.A.P due to the weapons having enough damage already. This will DEFINITELY increase the replay value and longer game plays.  **examples  Red dot sight, target finder, acog, variable zoom, etc..., extended mags, suppressor, maybe dual wielding on pistols, or whatever you can come up with  8)

3) FOV slider under the  "pause" / "options" / "look"or"move" options screen (like we are seeing in other recent maps)

4) Remove Staminup and replace with a different perk or a custom perk since its no secret that Staminup is not necessary on this map.  Maybe ask the community for their opinion on what perk to use???

Now dont get me wrong, I like the map the way it is, just thought that these things could take it from great to EPICNESS! What do you (and everyone else for that matter) think??

Definitely agree. This is my favorite map right now, and if you made changes similar to these I will NEVER stop playing it.   ;D

Thanks for all the tips,  But i really think it's to late to add much to this map due to how much time it might take to add them.

Anyways most of the bugs found by people that have played the map have now been fix.

Also added like 3 new guns because i had the room in size to add them :)

I also like the idea on solo it only cost 30k ending because a 50k ending on solo may take a long time and a lot of luck to be able to do :)

Also in the new update i have fully portal the map so that any pc can run it here is my example that i just took a screen shot of.  On my laptop i get 30 more fps then i did in the last update. :)

By the way the one on the left is update v1.1




Also with the pap idea,  I wanted the map to feel hard and there not to be a pack a punch because that might make the map to easy.  Also if i added a pap that would 2x my weapon file count and then i would hit the limit

Thank you! I really like the map I would have to say the layout of the map is even better than my "Town Of The Dead" map because it has little holes that you can go in to run away from the zombies and stuff  :)

I tried to download it from The UGX Map Manager but it doesn't show up on the list for me. A lot of the maps I try to download aren't showing up. What am I doing wrong?

Well, I've played this map and I want to give a brief but fair review of it;

PROS:
+ Map looks pretty good.
+ New voice clips taken from Black Ops.
+ Amount of new weapons is insane and impressive. Caught me off guard with some of them (i.e. Chinese Assault Rifle from Fallout 3. Nice choice).

CONS:
+ Map Design is a little restrictive and often leads to a lot of getting caught in the middle of a group of zombies, which is pretty much instant death. Also, there are a lot of parts of the map where it LOOKS like you can access, but you can't, which is annoying.
+ Some of the weapon sounds are a bit warped. Like, they sound like they're blowing out and distorting, though thankfully they're not incredibly loud.

Yeah I could understand what you mean about the map design is a little restrictive.  But that's also why I did not add any bosses into the map because I was going too, But then I did a coop test and it was way to hard and even in solo :P

I am new to custom zombies maps so it may be quite obvious but how do I pick up the keys that i find on the wall. It shows a hand icon but when i press the interact button nothing happens

best weapon audio ever. pretty legit map. a little too confined for me. but you should definitely make another map with the weapon reload audio you made in this. Im in love with it! awesome job man. hope to see more maps from you!!

I'm sorry I disabled the console and cheats so people are not able to cheat on the map :)

Well I was working on a map for the contest that was coming up,  But I lost the .map file in a computer hard drive issue :/.  So the answer would be no i'm not working on a new map but will be soon again :)

Sometimes the map is hard and people can only get to like round 15 lol :P
