Title: [Manager] Hotel Version 2 (v1.1)

This map can be downloaded from the UGX Map Manager.

This is a modern remake of the classic custom zombie map Hotel. The zombies flood in from the basement and you must hold them back as you make your way floor by floor to the roof where you make your stand against the undead
 -Brief explanation from Tomikaze

Map was made for Zommods. Its one of those maps, that you can just sit back and relax on, since its not too hard and just for killing zombies and seeing how high can you go and to test, if you can survive on crazy rounds like 40, 100 and so much further

 -8 perks
 -Custom weaponry, only few stock weapons
 -Buildable, buyable ending
 -Upgradable C4
 -Roundskip Button

Bug fixes in V1.1:
Code Snippet
Plaintext
-Added better animations for few guns
-Removed few glitchy specs
-Fixed QR disabling all stock perks in solo, when bought 3 times
-Tweaked weaponfiles a bit
-Added more debris by second floors door, since it was having invisible wall
-Little bit of detail/lighting added on areas in need of such
-DT 2.0 power on machine updated
-You get no more damage from Scavenger/C4 while having Flopper
-C4 taking more points than 1.5k (hopefully)
-Added world muzzleflashes
-Solo QR should stay there now until bought 3 times and clip is removed

ah i remember watching yoteslaya do an insanely high round challenge on the original hotel, such good times ive had on that map, good times :D

Haven't played the updated version, but I really love this remake. It's one of those classics where you can do whatever you want and always have fun. Love the weapons too. Great job guys!  :)

I can't say I like this map... I only can say I LOVE this map! It's a great map and remake! The only thing I hate (and yes, I know the original had this too) is that zombies spawn only down in the room with QR and zombies take over 2 minutes to come upstairs. But love the guns!

Great map, I really like playing on this map, and one thing I espacially love, is the walking animation. Indeed, it seems to me that it's the first map in which the walking animation is really similar to Black Ops 2's one.

Weird, monkeys were working for us when we tested this, and it has worked for everyone as well.
Might be the game fucking up. You could always retry the map and see if they function properly the second time.

Sometimes WaW does that, no idea why though. This also happens on when you use give all, which I assume you didnt use :please: But yeah, I suggest just restarting map and trying again

You asked me to comment, so here goes!

First of all, I loved the fact that even on my sub-par laptop I still managed to get 60 fps while playing this map. So thanks for making the experience flawless as well as enjoyable  :)

The map has an excellent layout, the starting room is top notch, provides some breathing room but not enough to point whore like a lil' b1tch for too long. The Ballista is one of my favorite rifles, so even better. The roof is obviously the magnum opus of the map, very well thought out and a very nice selection of weaponry. The ACR is one of my favorite Assault Rifles :lol: . I liked the build-able ending, gave something to aim for, and the secret room after an unspecified number of rounds reveals the best Wonder Weapon of all  :troll: .

However, the map is so dark. Even with the power on the lights are akin to a toy flashlight, making it difficult to actually see the Electric Panel, I happened to blunder into it by mistake as I couldn't make out where it was. And you can't turn the brightness up because as soon as you get to the roof the light level returns to normal, so you'll get blinded by omega sun rays of doom.

But eh, most of the playtime is on the roof, so the dark rooms and corridors are inconsequential.

My second attempt and success :

There are tons of maps out there, but I always keep coming back to this one. It's so fun and easy, and I just love trying out all of the custom weapons. Keep up the good work!

I really like the look of this map and I'm trying to play it with some friends, but it won't let me.  It says "Trying to join potential matches" for like 30 seconds and then says "Game session not available".  This has happened on multiple hosts, lan and internet.  This also hasn't happened on any other maps, just this one.  Any clue what could be causing it?

I might do one for Zombie Desert, it does have the Retriever on it, another weapon I like, if you are serious about seeing more :poker:.

Download the mod again, seems like DL did not go as planned

Got the thing to round 91, then to 270, took ages.  ;D Officially round 31 is my Record on Hotel V2. :D

I think you might have uploaded the wrong version to map manager, as when i played it, had to re download due to comp problems.   I found the all the weapons were free, and only two item were in the box, the pp-sh and monkey bomb.  Also the pack punch was broken; it would eat my weapon and my points.

I've been playing this one a lot. The upgraded C4 is so much fun to use. I did 40 rounds solo without skipping before buying the ending. Then did a 2 player game skipping to round 165 after playing a full round 135 or so that was almost 3 thousand zombies. I want to go higher :) I saw 2 videos of this map  by RelaxingEnd and in the latest one, they got it up to round 1337.  :o

I downloaded it from the map manager and it worked fine. Also you say you "had to re-download due to comp problems" so, is it an issue on your end and did you fix it? You're not exactly clear. :-\ But it worked for me fine.

Sounds like either broken download just for you or PC issues. Try redownloading it again. Manager version has worked for a lot of people here

I've been playing this one a lot. The upgraded C4 is so much fun to use. I did 40 rounds solo without skipping before buying the ending. Then did a 2 player game skipping to round 165 after playing a full round 135 or so that was almost 3 thousand zombies. I want to go higher :) I saw 2 videos of this map  by RelaxingEnd and in the latest one, they got it up to round 1337.  :o

Heh, yeah, I saw Relaxings videos already #FinnishPower :D Glad you liked the map :)

I downloaded the map, but then my screen had fire around it. I ignored it and kept playing, I played a different map and had fire on it as well. How do I delete this map and reinstall it? :-\

You dont need to delete the map and reinstall it. I made tutorial here on how to fix this, very simple :)

Browning as starting weapon, Ballista in wall in first room, C4 in second room, rest are in top of Hotel :P

Hotel is one of the first custom maps I played on, it's a classic and it's always fun. A lot of weapons and it's really laid-back, I love it.

Stock monkeys are pain in the ass, since they work most of the time, but there are times, when they dont. Cant fix that, sorry. Just pray, that they work next time you are playing :P
