Modern Perk Shaders by Scobalula
I tried uploading it as an attchment, UGX didn't like this and gave me an error. If one of the admins can correct this that would be great, for the moment use the Mediafire download.  :accepted:

I was on the chat yesterday ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), when someone posted a link to these "Modern Perk Shaders", they looked pretty neat, but it was ProRevenge's comment that they didn't match the original zombies style that got me thinking, so I decided to remake them with the original zombie's badge (the part behind the perk icon).

While I did get the inspiration from Deadnaut who made the original Modern Perk Shaders, these are completely made by me and I did not use his as a base. You can download his ones here:  http://www.zombiemodding.com/index.php?topic=16593.0

What's included??

Inside this .rar file, you'll find 4 Folders amrked with perk names.

Each one contains:

1 .PSD @1024x1024
1. PNG @ 1024x1024
1 .DDS @ 64x64
1 .IWI  @ 64x64

Speed Cola doesn't have a PSD because I accidentally saved it's PSD at 64x64 and it wasn't recoverable, I'll remake it later.

How to Install?

They are pretty easy to install.

Go to your Mods Folder in your root directory, locate your Mod's folder, if you don't know where that is:

Please note: 64bit Users will have (x86) at the end of their Program File's directory since World at War is a 32Bit Application, 32 Bit will go to C:\Program Files\

For DVD Users:

Code Snippet
Plaintext
C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty World at War\mods\map_name

For Steam Users:

Code Snippet
Plaintext
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty World at War\mods\map_name

Inside this folder create a folder "images" if there isn't already.

Simply put the IWI files from the other folders into there and tick them in the Mod Builder in Launcher, you don't have to do anything after this, the game will use these instead of the originals.

In-Game (didn't have Jug on this map):

To-Do:

Black Ops 1 Perk Shaders
Black Ops 2 Perk Shaders
Power Up Shaders
Round Icons
HUD Icons

If you would like me to make you a custom perk shader for your map please be very descriptive in what you want and PM me on here.

Why can I only choose 3 reasons to come to the site?

I thought the same thing, since literally every reason there is why I come to this site all the time.

I'm currently working/updating a map now using UGX. I want to start another map now. How can I work on a new one and still continue to work on my old map without messing everything up ?

I don't suggest working on 2 maps at once, but every time you want to work on your Non-UGX map, you'll have to follow the part on the Wiki about returning to stock map development.

Are you using Steam version of WaW? NAT Type is different from application to application due to use of different ports, NAT on Modern Warfare 3 for me is Open but on Black Ops 2 it's strict because I haven't port forwarded its ports in my router.

EDIT: nvm, saw Steam's directory in the error log, try verifying integrity of game cache.

Also for WaW you need to forward port 28960 and 3074.

Thanks MakeCents, will definitely be using this on my WIP Map, thanks again for the scripts. :)

Usually caused by strict NAT type, or an insanely high ping (500ms+), to fix do what johndoe said, for ping it depends on how far you are from each other and both your network set-ups, ISPs and who is using your Internet.

No problem guys, Beta should be VERY soon, should have had it done a week ago but I changed my mind and decided to add custom weapons which takes a bit of time because I have to do PaP guns. lol

Driver support is already pretty good unless you have an AMD graphics card TBH. What i'm really worried about is the actual install process. If something goes wrong during the install your screwed unless you have a backup image somewhere.

In other news, Microsoft has confirmed that you can download/install Windows 10 on July 29th.

Good to hear, though AMD's newer drivers are crap anyway, I'm still running CCC 13.12 from 2013 because the newer ones are that bad (and I can't be bothered; 13.12 works excellent for me.), it's the only reason I'm considering buying an nVidia card.

Back on Topic: I agree, something going wrong and you have to do a full re-install, hopefully Microsoft have a fall back though if in the case, the installation fails, though I'd rather wait still.

Sneaky little Microsoft, like yourself I would rather wait around half a year for bugs to be fixed and for device drivers to make their way to the OS.

I had this before but i cleane dout my entire pc and i cant find anywhere that has instructions and how to make this work correctly. On this site it said download the CodMayaTools.py and put it in My Documents\maya\<maya version>\scripts, then create usersetup.mel just by making a new notepad file and putting python("import CoDMayaTools"); in it but when i go to plugin manager his tools arent there and its not in maya window.

#1 Are you trying to use Adain's or Tom's Tools? #2 What version of Maya are you using?
