In raidant to select a model. You are suppose to press shift+lmb . but when i do that to select a model, i can't
i have to rmb and then click the first option.

What if this is happening with brushes? That button doesnt helpit happens when you accidentally give it a nonexistent classname. just create a brush around it and select inside.
