An all around great zombie map. I'm looking forward to the mentioned sequel ;)

bo3 looks better and allow more creativity but i must say the genuine zombies feeling is definitely lost in bo2 and even more so in bo3
I couldn't agree more.
I feel like Treyarch hit the nail on the head with BO1 Zombies in terms of feel and fluidity.
To me, COD zombies has definitely lost it's 'charm' it once had.

That's not stopping me from moving away from the WaW mod tools however;
Objectively, the BO3 mod tools allow for a far superior expression of creativity.

You could make the box and lid seperate models, and have the lid open via move/rotate functions in script.
I know this isn't exacly what you want, nor will it help you with more elaborate animations in the future;
but it's a viable and quick workaround to use in the meantime.

Unless you can figure out how to convert it to the type of LUT in a image file that bo3 uses then probably not, then again I may be wrong since I've never used premiere or LUTs before so don't take my word for it
I figured it out!

I'm not an avid Photoshop user, so I didn't know before;
turns out you can just import LUTs in Photoshop!
Used it on the default color curve, works like a charm!

I'm going to re-install WaW to enjoy this  :)

Looks good!
Can you share a bit of the lore? I'm always interested in that stuff.

Dude! That is pretty great voice work. Before the video I was thinking, "this is going to be so painful", but I was very wrong.
Thank you  :)

Demo I created for the zombie community:

PS: I didn't know where to post this, so if it isn't in the right section, feel free to move it.

Where would I find the brushes? Like brush models?

Inside radiant, try File-->Check Map for Errors.
File-->Load Error File-->Point File.

It should show you the origin of your problem.

Add weathergrime volume in your map, red is basically texturebase used for making models snowy, mossy or whatever you want to have overlaying it

Thank you :)

Waw doesn't use c++ then what language does it use

It's a custom language created for the Call of Duty games;
It does however resemble C++ and Java in many ways.

Thank you for this tutorial!
I've been looking for ways to color grade the game for a while now.

Is it also possible to actually import LUTs?
I have a sweet collection of LUTs I usually use inside premiere.
Thanks!

take some pictures of what you built if you still got any files left back from the old days ;)
Sadly all those files were stored on my old computer, which I've replaced a while ago.  :'(
You're in luck though, cause I've managed to salvage these stills from an old backup-drive:

They belong to an alpha test video from one of my maps.

This is before I did the lighting and extra detailing for the map, so it doesn't look as good as it used to...
I wish I could show more, but this is all I could find.

Got the map in-game with zombies - noticed a weird red tint on models that reminds me of when you needed a reflection probe in WaW....
May I ask how you fixed this problem?
I'm having the exact same issue.
