This is a map I started a long time ago and I have decided to finish and release it, as it took me a lot of work.

Scenario and Story

The map is placed on an abandoned and partally flooded town where the war ended long ago, and now only the remains of the trenches and the destroyed buidings last. Vegetation has grown all around and swamps, burned terrain and the dead challenge anybody who dares to explore its secrets.
A gate to another reality was opened there, and it grew up during the war, when the battle fed it.

Find the way to save the world as we know it, in a place where past, present and future merge.

Trailer


Features
-Main Easter Egg with two endings.
-Musical Easter Egg.
-Two weapon Easter Eggs.
-Power activation divided in 6 zones that have to be captured and are attacked randomly by the enemy.
-Elemental orb system (Fire, Water, Wind and Lightning orbs) that can be created from raw orbs in the four elemental stone circles in the map.
-Elevators
-Custom models
-Custom textures
-Custom sounds
-6 Perks (Juggernog, Sleight, BO Quick Revive, Double Tap, Mule kick and Stamin-Up)
-The four original perks are elementally upgradeable with puzzles:
   +Juggernog -> health incremented 50% when upgraded (Wind)
   +Sleight of Hand -> Electric cherry effect when upgraded (Lightning)
   +Double Tap -> Damage increased 100% when upgraded (Water)
   +Quick Revive -> An explosion kills all the zombies surrounding the player when downed (Fire)

Weapons

-All COD WAW Weapons except Type 100, double barreled shotgun, STG-44, molotov and flamethrower
-AK-47
-Hidden blade
-Nock Gun (Seven-barreled shotgun)
-Bow, that can be upgraded with the elemental orbs into four different bows with different powers.
-Spear, that can be simple thrown killing one zombie, or charged, killing all the zombies that enter in its effect area during a certain time. The spear can be taken back from the ground but if it’s charged, it has to be regenerated killing zombies.
-The Spear can be upgraded following the main Easter Egg.

-Difficulty added by zones that can only be accessed by climbing.
-Allied soldier recruitment  with HUD.
   +Rifleman – allied Japanese soldier with Kar98k (PTRS41 When upgraded).
   +Shotgunner – allied Marine with a Shotgun (Nock gun when upgraded).
   +Assault – Russian soldier with a PPsH-41 (AK-47 When upgraded).
   +Machine gunner – German soldier with FG-42 (MG-42 when upgraded).
All four soldier types can be upgraded two levels, increasing health, weapons and the option of special attack (an upgraded Nock gun during 20 seconds at level 2 and an upgraded Ray gun at level 3).
The player can command the soldiers with commands like stop fire, hold position, follow and the activation of the special hability.

Also, please upload the installer to a host besides MEGA as many people have issues with downloading from that site. I suggest Google Drive.

In V2 of the map could you make the zombie nazi soldiers weaker, it's just that they are too strong, and dealing with 2 at them at the start is just so tricky. But I do like it that they drop weapons free to take.

Also could we see in V2 the stg44 and the mp40 from origins aswell? Becuase this is a origins like map, y'know with the quests and upgrades, and the zones being like generators.

Okay, I'm going to be brief. This map makes me angry. It's not only annoying, it's unfinished. A lot of the background is plain as day, you can see where the map just ends in multiple areas, the layout is confusing and the way forwards isn't always clear, nothing is explained, the zombie soldiers with their guns that can kill you in only a few shots and have to be fought to get the power on can fuck right off and I fell through the map in the first zone (to the left of the railway building doors). I'd certainly like to try a lot of the features touted in the description, but frankly I don't have the patience and the two main ways I found to go ended in dead-ends anyway. So...yeah. Not a fan.

Not to mention that even if you succeed in killing the soldiers and that by a miracle you have jugg, you will end up having a G_spawn error before being rounds 10 lol
The description of the map is more interesting than the map itself

Agreed, it's such as shame to see all of the content in the trailer and clear talent overcast by and hidden behind a wall of non-enjoyable, non-challenging but fiddly tasks.

I'm sorry for all the troubles you are experiencing with my map. Being my first mod, I wanted to put too much things and features, and due to my lack of experience some things are screwed up. Also, it was released too early, and I realize I had to make more accurate testing.

I have solved some of the problems (mapping falls, COOP bug), but I still have work to do, and I hope to release a much better version of the map, which can be not so confusing or complicated.

I hope I can release it as soon as possible. Until then, it is of great help that you can post the bugs and problems you are finding.

Disregarding the bugs and issues, the very fact that this map is your first mod is truly unbelievable. This map sports features that very few maps even come close to. Quite impressive.

K so I very aware that you are fixing some bugs and improving some stuff on this map but if its alright I suggest some stuff pls?

1. the zombie guys are way to op, its really hard to survive while they are continuously spawning in. make them at least a one hit or make them similar to the ones in origins.

2. make the time for the capture points shorter because 30 seconds is just ridiculous.

3. I'm not sure if there is any more but I dropped into an area with the double tap upgrade starts and there is no way out of there unless there is a door (if so, pls make the door more visible)

4. the capture point near spawn (right from spawn) there is too tall/much grass, this results in me dropping down the hole in the area + unable to find the zombie soldiers

5. I think you should cheapen the doors in some areas like the first 2 in spawn for being a 1000 already and the drop down area near the capture point being 1250.

6. maybe a bit of design outside the map? Looks really bland and you can see the end.


that's about it. I'm sorry to report so much stuff (really!) This map looks amazing for a first try. It seems to have so much to do but with all these problems its really annoying to play.

I also found a glitch. If you go to the muddy area and you go to the left and jump you can get out of the map. But other than that, cool map. :P

For everyone who have crashes/coop crashes/bugs here's the solution :

/!\ I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR GAME FIRST /!\

1. Download and install T4M (2mb) :

You just have to drag d3d9.dll to your game folder.

2. Try to start CoDWaW.exe, load the map and see if it's working.

3. If it's no (like me) then download a Lan Fix (this one for example :

You're done. For any texture bugs just set "Yes" to everything in "Graphics" (try to turn on/off "Specular Map" to see the difference). Set all the textures to "Extra" and the other things to the max (set the other thing to "Trilinear")

This might solve your problem.

Got this error after finding the orb doing parkour in the sewers... Also completed the standoff thing... but when trying to do the quest where you place the orb in the wall... nothing happens? Yeah, you don't like this map, it has many bugs, it is so complicated... I understood it in your first eight replies.
As I said, I'm working to improve it.

Meanwhile, I invite you to read any of the other threads in this board, I'm sure you will find some map that meets the quality standards you expect from amateur modding.

Im playing right now and yeah, there are so many bugs but that doesnt make the map unplayable.

Forget about what i said

This map is unplayable :V, you can fall of the map in a lot of parts
you can not use the double tap quest, if you fall into the speed cola tunnel you will never get out :v
The soldiers are op

The only way to survive this map is using god mode and noclip :l

You have to jump on the wooden crates next to the speed cola, then on a grid and then you jump to reach the exit at the top

This map is horrible. It's incredibly glitchy to the point to where it is UNPLAYABLE. It needs major nerfing, don't play this until he gets his crap together

I agree that he had to spend a lot of time doing that.
But if he had to test his map solo or co-op without noclip or godmode, he would certainly notice the defects without being told.

What makes me crazy is that this map looked fabulous with several easter egg and truly original gameplay (jump on objects to reach an exit or a goal) and that finally ... we can do nothing of all that.

Good idea but bad job!

I never managed to finish the quest in the sewers, the one that allows to upgarde the doube-tap ... always G_spawn error -_-

The map looks realy great on the pictures but sadly i can't start a game. I can launch the mod without problems but when i try to start a game alone or with a friend my game crashes. My friend have the same issue. Anyone have any idea on what to do about it?

There is no need for the two zombie riflemen at the beginning.
It really throws me off since it takes a couple of mags to kill one.

It's sad the maps work in solo but not in multiplayer please fix it !  :(

i love your map dude it have the potential to be the greatest map i played so far . Im glad you are working on this map to fix the glitchs and the coop crash.it aleardy one of my favorite map.I dont want to see this project die so keep it going . :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:
