I noticed that Saje mentioned an issue with the dogs derping out. Did notice that happening at any point myself but will investigate it further. Possibly an issue that arises based on where the player is on the map at the start of the round.

Either way, I will check it again but from several playthroughs, I had no issues.

Yeah, I think it must be something to do with being in the house when the round starts. I will test it our rigorously though to see if it is a major game-breaker.

Map is pretty damn nice though, and I think if it can be looked past or worked around it is definitely manager worthy. Would also be a nice way to bid adieu to Cinnober.

Yeah it must be to do with inside the house as they spawn fine when outside or even up on the walkway around the outside of the house.
Its an in-house issue   :troll: [excuse the pun]   :nyan:

You could just remove dog rounds altogether then. That would fix it.

yeah..but I think it matches the map theme better with dogs...I´ll try a few things and hope it works. I´ll let you guys know if I solve it or just wanna keep the dogs..

I agree with this, I really hope you stay and make more maps cinnboer, this map gave me some more inspiration to continue working on my scary type map also :)

After playing co-op with a friend,we discovered that the dogs spawn fine when we were at the second floor IN the house :gusta:

Very weird issue....dogs spawn fine outside when players are outside..dogs don´t spawn when players were inside on first floor...but spawn fine when we are on second floor .

Anyone else that have noticed that ??

The house is the same zone (zone4) and I´ve added spawn scriptstructs for dogs assigned to zone4..but still it seems like it´s the zone1 spawns that mess things up...

So I´ve done some more testing with deleting things,moving things etc. with no luck.  :-
But I have discovered this:

When player is inside house when doground starts..the first dog spawns as invicible. You can still hear the growling. When player moves out and wait for a while,the number 2 dog spawns fine and chase you. If you wait long enough, then the first (invicible) dog explodes like it was killed.
Here´s the funny thing...it´s always the same place the invicible dog spawn and die...and that is the spot were the zombie_dog(wolf) model is placed in Radiant with the KVP´s for the dog spawner init !!!! ??? ???

I´ve never seen this before...it´s NOT were the script_struct´s are for dog spawning.

I simply don´t know how to fix that,so if you guys don´t have a solution for that then you can either put in the map manager with the bug or don´t.

It´s up to you guys to decide that.
