Modding / Settle Animations

Some guns from say MWR and AW have "settle" animations that will play after firing the weapon. Is there a way to use those in the mod tools? As some of the guns fire anims don't look the best without them

Modding / Weird thumbs when porting MWR Pistols

So in maya, the left hand thumb always looks messed up for the pistols. Do I just need to fix this myself for every animation or is something wrong besides that?

General / Museum Zombies requests

So for my museum Zombies map, I would like to know if there are any very notible/stand out models, scenes, or weapons you would like to see in my map!

Misc. Info about it...
-Based on the MW2 Museum map
-To be filled with tons of Call of Duty memorabilia
-Each area is themed differently, the main spawn room is just the main Cod room, filled with things from BO3, BO2, WaW, and a secret hidden game... Basically the main games with Zombies

-The next area is the Armory, which is a collection of guns spanning from WaW all the way through Infinite Warfare, along with various scorestreaks, characters, and vehicles on display (and no, you can't just take the weapons from the display cases, that would make it too easy)

-there will be one area solely dedicated to zombies... Including zombies exclusive weapons, models, and other cool zombies related items on display.

-The next area is the final area (for now), which is the lobby. The lobby is essentially a place for food, and the Gift Shop obviously. Not giving away much for this area because it's not even close to done yet... But there possibly may be another area.

if you have suggestions for a new area, or some zombies related things to put in the map, please let me know!

Modding / (FIXED) Launcher not Linking new changes in APE

So while porting weapons, I noticed a weird thing in one of my anims so I went, fixed it, changed stuff in APE and went to link and I noticed while in game that the Launcher did not link ANYTHING that I changed... I don't know why this is suddenly happening it just started last night

Modding / Sound Aliases not working all of the sudden?

So I've been sending my guns to various mappers, and they include a new alias for the gun sounds... The sounds worked before but now when I send them to others, (note they contain the same instructions/files) the sounds no longer work... This started happening after the update to the mod tools so maybe it has something to do with that?

General / Advanced Warfare Gun Sounds

So I plan on porting Advanced Warfare guns buttt the sounds are going the be the most difficult part to it all... If anyone can point me in the right direction such as like, a key to see what sounds are what in the files (since its all just jumbled up randomly) or even has gun sounds from Advanced Warfare, If you would like to send them my way you will get major MAJOR credits to my weapons :)

Modding / Weird viewmodel error

So I finished porting the MW2 M16 and in game, it looks like this


Now I figured out that the game uses the first frame of the ADS Up anim and the last frame of the ADS Down so I tried redo-ing those and still, nothing...

I've ported other weapons from MW2 and there have been no problems with those at all

Modding / Alt. Weapon problems

So I'm porting the Titus 6, which if you do not know, is a 3 round burst gun that also has a 2 round burst shotgun mode... but I can't get it to work properly.

Problem 1:
Both guns share the same ammo even though they are set up NOT to. One needs to have 3 rounds in the mag and the other needs 6.

Problem 2: both modes take up weapon slots when together it should take up one. Possibly it's because they are different weapon types? (one is a projectileweapon and the other is a bulletweapon)

Problem 3: I can't get the projectile weapon to have the projectiles explode properly, someone said that I need it to spawn a grenadeweapon but I'm not sure how to set that up properly.

If anyone can help thanks a bunch!

Modding / Black Ops 1/WaW Anim problem

So for some reason when I do WaW anims the camera is always screwed up, so I went to see if the Black Ops 1 versions and using SEANIMS would be better but it still keeps messing up whenever i put the anims in maya

Can someone tell me how I can properly do these (I've done BO2/MWR weapons but these other ones never work for me)

Modding / Explosive Projectiles (Like BO1 Crossbow)

So i'm porting the Titus-6 and i cant seem to get the explosive part working for the weapon, and i want it to kinda work like the black ops 1 crossbow. Can someone help me out?

Hello mappers!

Do you like weapons that are not 100% the same as they are in their main game? Well you've come to the right place!

(Most if not all of my weapons are custom balanced with only a few stats carried over such as fire rate and reload times, this is just because well I personally am not looking for 1:1 ports so they are the way i personally like them)

I've been porting weapons for a while now, and I'd like to give access to my weapons to the community, however I feel some criteria should be met before hand, since eventually I will be releasing all of these, but until then if you would like to use them please follow what's listed below

1. Contact me through steam OR Discord, these are the easiest ways to reach me (My steam is Jdcobra1, Discord is Jdcobra1#0312)

2. You must send me a link to your map/screenshots of your map. I need to see that effort is put into your map. If there is not much effort (ex: almost all box maps), then I will not supply you with these ports

3. These ports take time, and my willingness to work with you depends on if you can understand that.

4. Don't steal these ports... AKA, please give credit... again these take up my own free time and seeing that go down the drain for not even the slightest of credits makes it almost pointless.

5. Please understand I can't do every single gun all at once... I have a life too lmao

If you can comply with these conditions I'll be happy to work with you.

So I planned on porting the Death Machine from BO2, and everything works fine but I'm not sure how I would add barrel spin to it (Like when it fires/revs up)

This is my spin on the classic Museum from MW2... In this museum, it's full of memories from... Old games, new games,  classic weapons, black ops 2 perks, and just random models that everyone knows! Everything from the Magic Wheel from IW to the Dreaded Transit Bus....

Right now this is in it's infancy stages, getting textures the way I want them, and getting the models/guns that I want in the map, but for now, heres a look!

(If you guys want any specific maps/games to be showcased let me know!)

-BO2 Perks (Wardog)

Upcoming Features
-Eventually Brutus/Custom powerups (natesmithzombies)

So I'm currently working on porting the Titus-6 from the BO2 Campain into my map, but since it was a hybrid weapon, I would like to know how those would work in game. Like how would I switch between the modes
