PLEASE NOTE: This is an EXPERIMENTAL map, the reason why I'm realeasing it is to see how the community would react to this map's style of play. I am anticipating criticism however please tell me what you dislike AND like about the map (It will greatly help me!). Also if you have ANY SUGGESTIONS please comment them below (It would also help me a lot). Thank you! [/b]

MAIN DETAILS (PLEASE READ):

BUILT IN (ESTIMATION): Over 1 month
DIFFICULTY: Medium/Hard
RECCOMMENDED NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2+
PERKS: Deadshot Daiquiri, PHD Flopper, Stamin-Up, Speed Cola, Double Tap 2.0, Mule Kick

DESCRIPTION OF THE MAP:

I created this map because I thought it'd be a fun little twist on the original progression formula you see in 99% of maps these days. I would be really interested to see who has survived to the highest round on this map so please comment below your highscore!

The story goes like this (if there even is a story): Some people on a parallel earth invented a teleport to our earth in a desperate attempt to stop the planet from being overrun from zombie-aliens (just go with it), after they realise the how the virus could spread to a different world, they must defend this portal until a way is found to shut it down completely - even if it means imploding the planet.

I love the originality of the map, but I feel it could be improved a lot by having the teleporter move as you open doors. As it is, you have about 20 feet to shoot zombies once they get in before you lose.

Thanks, I made the teleporter that distance to not make the map impossible but I do see your point.

Almost like a OWC map. Really enjoyed it....a boss zombie would have made things really interesting.

It isn't actually Pie Man's thundergun, it's from a different community uploader who ported it.

Its been downloaded a lot and no one has told me it doesn't work so, I assume it is working. This isn't the lights and everything, just the gsc script. If you want the lights and all, let me know. I made my own fx and csc stuff.

lol well you were already talking to me on the chat, but I'll put this out there for everyone else who may read this to make sure to not use the TG script from Rorke's older weapon packs as it was ripped, according to Rorke he didn't know it was ripped but he removed it from his later packs.

I've tested it thoroughly and the installer works fine.
If you have too many mods installed you might have hit the limit and will have to delete some other mods in AppData/local/Activision/CoDWaW/mods.
OR you should re-install it and check again. ;)

Or you had cod open or the process was still running when you installed it. Check your task manager to make sure cod is not running and then install it.

"Fixed more 2D gun sounds"

In Co-Op some guns sounded incredibly loud from other players and was extremely annoying. I had to fix this issue and since it isn't a full "update" I made it V1.1.1

I kind of wish you could go down the stairs to fight on this map, to make it easier on solo because some zombies are trolls and move slow and then extremely fast which can really make you upset, at least move the teleporter or something in solo. I legitimately can't beat it solo especially when I had the points for the ending and the zombies trolled me at the end :(

I love the idea but this map cant have multiplayer :'(.This map is one of my favororates but cant play multiplayer.When ever i play it shows my feinds character afk and then he just dissconects from my game

second, coop works fine on this map, maybe try redownloading it?

That must be a problem on your end since I have seen MANY people play this map co-op with it working 100% fine.
Try using a different host.

When ever I try to play this map with friends I get this error "Weapon index mismatch fro dragunov". I've tried uninstalling the map and reinstalling also by re downloading the map and still gives same error. Every other map works perfectly fine just not this one. Also single player works fine. Please fix, also great map for single player so far...

which is usually caused, by two of you using different versions of the map

make sure your "both" on 1.1, odds are, one of you is using 1.0 without realizing

XD! I read your review tomikaze! I'm so glad you've enjoyed playing the map! :)
Yea, I played the map with a friend last night and it was REALLY fun. I would love to see you do this again on your next map and just make a few changes here and there. Maybe instead of just a buyable ending there are parts to a space ship that you have to open different doors to find them and then bring them back and assemble the ship. Once the ship is built you need to find fuel and then you can win the game (just thinking out loud).

Pros:
-The tower defense gameplay was really cool and this was big because it felt different than really any other zombie map because you are supposed to protect something rather than just run circles til you down yourself out of boredom.
-having to unlock your way to the buyable ending was fun as you had to decide if you were going to get a new gun or open the next door.
-Hitmarkers were very helpful
-The reliance on teamwork is totally a must and have 3 or 4 players would be very helpful

Cons:
-We got tired of getting pistols and other bad weapons the majority of the time we hit the box.
-Not being able to get drops unless you let the zombies almost win wasn't very fun.
-The wall guns were garbage
-Letting one zombie through meant instant game over. At least give the teleport 3 hit Jug or something  ;D

Really nice map but it could use a few things tweaks here and there nothing big.
First of all you should add better wall weapon also add some wallbuy things like insta kill or maybe even ammo as it becoms very low quite quickly.
Another thing you should consider adding is maybe some traps like buy able turrets or electricity trap.
Hopefullly youll consider these.

Really nice map but it could use a few things tweaks here and there nothing big.
First of all you should add better wall weapon also add some wallbuy things like insta kill or maybe even ammo as it becoms very low quite quickly.
Another thing you should consider adding is maybe some traps like buy able turrets or electricity trap.
Hopefullly youll consider these.

You're right, how about, "You need to add a wall gun with high damage, infinite ammo and no reload necessary."

I still think we should just make the F key finish the game lol

save all those needless pointless things, like strategy, inventory management, learning to play the game - within the confines of how its designed to work etc lol

Great map, but extremely hard to beat this map on solo, (no friends, rip)
Could you make this map easier somehow for solo players ?

The map is fun to play but seemingly impossible to beat on Solo. Could you modify this somehow to make it at least somewhat beatable on Solo?

Pretty good map and interesting idea reminds me of playing warcraft 3 tower defense mods. I have some suggestions though.

1. Perhaps add a 5 chance system where 4 zombies can touch the portal without ending the game, and the 5th would end it? (not all at once, but when one goes in, and then another, that counts as 2)

2. A sort of barrier shield that blocks the zombies from coming into the base for like 15 secs?

3.  Add a buyable that shifts the zombies focus to the player(s) for like 15 secs instead of the portal? this would allow the player to draw them away from the portal for a short time, but when the time is up the zombies would revert back to the portal. Without jug and the somewhat tightish corridors it still would be difficult, and also when the 15 secs run out, the zombies at the back of the pack would easily get access to the portal. This mechanic would allow for some interesting gameplay.

I think also maybe coming up with your own perks would be a good idea and repurpose other normal zombie mode mechanics to make your mod more unique. A little bit more distance between the portal and the entrance of the zombies would be good too.

There were a few other things that could be improved possibly, but they were not crucial (mostly choices in the map design, and the position of things).
