ok so i got this error


But in asset viewer i get this


so im only using 1171 images so why am i getting this error please help

you have to remove custom models with a lot of images and materials also you are pretty close to 2048 material error i find that detailed bo2 models are the worst, some taking up to 10 materials per model

That's clearly not all the assets in your map, you're most likely not counting all the files that are being called, I mean 30 xanims in the entire map?  ???

well im making this map with him and we are using the ugx mod and we haven't added any weapons to mod yet.

If i'm not mistaking, you cannot remove any assets that are allready compiled in the UGX-mod. So that leave's you with much tighter limit's then you normally would have when not using the UGX-mod.

There's some image's inside the IWD's you can remove, and for the rest use ignore file's to remove some more stock WaW texture's / materials to create some room.


EDIT:

I think asset-counter cant count any of the pre-compiled asset's, that's why it says you got plenty of room. The rest of your assets are allready in the .FF's.
Somebody correct me if this isn't the case, but pretty sure it is..

so what are you suggesting we should do besides delete some images because we have tried that, we tried pressing "i" and making everything detail and we tried deleting models, i made sure the models in map where under the engine limitations i think we had about 4000 and the limit is 4096.

Use ignore files to remove WaW texture's you're not using

when i installed the ugx map to my computer it seemed to run fine but i soon as i added about 3-5 weapons i got the same error and i couldn't fix it again, so we re-made the mod and we use quite a few cod4 xmodels so once we removed a few it at least runs now. yaa, i guess?

and... isnt working again :( we really don't like the ugx mod it is creating to many problems for us. We basically dont have any scripting done because we cant even run our map with the ugx mod.
