this is a free peice of software thats free (unlike winrar)

no need to mess around with winrar no more
it reads large files faster than winrar and best thing of all its FREE

you will need to convert the files to enable drag and drop feater

i use 7-Zip its fast, free and better than Winrar too.

winrar is free yes it runs out of trial but never stops you using it therefore its free

nice find tho

Wow I think you forgot one explenation mark. (facepalm)

Besides 7-zip the awesome open source tool PeaZip and WinZip(?) are also great alternatives to WinRar.

WinRar is already free, GG

And I just looked bitser up, it's using 7-zip, so it's just a 7-zip with different UI?!

Big issue with WinRar is the rar5 format, which doesn't work with any of the alternatives as far as I know.

I've only got WinRar installed since it's a common compression format that is used. So I don't use any other application for compression.

But whenever I compress a mod installer for WaW I just use bog standard Windows Zip because everyone has that around here.

And whenever compression settings you use, WaW mods will still be the same size or have another megabyte added.

Lol pretty much xD dont see why anyone would want to change the current one their using either winrar or 7zip or even this new one, Doesnt really matter does it? i open massive rar or zip files in like 10seconds on winrar, so what? 5secs faster? so what? its only 10seconds no need to change really.
