Messages - Scobalula

errors under sound mod builder are normal

For those kind of sounds, (the perk stings) you just need to use that black ops 2 sound studio to export them, then open them in audacity, export them as .wav (should already be wav but for some reason they never work until reexported, think thats a bug with sound studio), place them in your raw/sounds somewhere and add it to your alias

Recompile your map and that should be all

It didn't work for me but I still think I am doing something wrong when exporting it or soundalias, I think your info is still correct so I am marking this as best. :)

Pretty much? I can't get custom sounds working, nor will ModSound work.

Now I'll get descriptive; I was originally trying to get custom "stings" (when you buy the perk sound) to work, I tried porting the ones from MOTD as a test, putting the file in my sounds with the same name as the alias' file did not work.

So I decided to created a new alias for my new file and change it in _zombiemode_perks.gsc, and as you guessed didn't work.

Then I found this: http://wiki.modsrepository.com/index.php?title=Call_of_Duty_5:_Custom_Sound

I followed everything to a tee, exporting through Audacity, alias, mod.cv etc.

However after I tried to run MODSound (Build Sounds) it spits this at me:

Code Snippet
Plaintext
---------------------------
Errors
---------------------------

---------------------------
FILES: 17960
UPDATED: 4
ERRORS: 20014
----------------------------

And no sound file is made in raw\sounds\ where I expect it to be as the tutorial states.

And now I'm hear with you.  :-\

If you need any more info please ask, I hope you will be able to assist me.

Thanks to those who have applied for Beta Access, I have more than enough now to Beta Test.

I know I've said many times it's coming soon, but the beta will most certainly be out within the next few days, all I have to do is fix up weapons and a few extra things.

Wait, there was beta button? :fuuu:

It's Ok, Hitman, we can all crash at my house since they won't let us in.  :ok:

your right, they need bo3 weapons  :troll:

What about Advanced Warfare 2 weapons? I heard Lime works with it now, Lemon maybe.  :troll:

I think some people start with prototype because it's simply the easiest way to go.

It's a good way to learn how to detail and it's a harmless way to experiment. Nothing's riding on your first map, unlike the expectations that build up for massive releases.

The only difference between a Prototype and a Der Riese map is perks and dogs, which are easy to add, perks have prefabs, dogs are pretty much the same as zombies risers to add.

then ill make another purple dimension and make the vision file purple, would that make you happy

Very Happy.  :pffft:

Looks pretty impressive from the screenies you've provided, but like smasher said some list of features would be appreciated.

I'll give it a go, but tbh Prototype maps aren't that great as they loose fun fairly fast. :P

You can change the FOV by opening the console by pressing the tilde key (beside 1) and typing cg_fov *value*, put the value you want where it says value without the stars, i.e. cg_fov 90, then press Enter to confirm the command.

If you have or would like to disable the console on your map and still allow FOV to be changed I have made a tutorial about adding a menu entry for FOV, which can be found here:

Blend has always worked for me, also Photoshop won't save Alpha with TGA even if you select 32Bit Depth, install DDS plug-in from NVIDIA (works with latest CC) and use DXT5.

Why did you remove gibbing and not put a Pack a Punch? I don't consider those a feature, more a con tbh.

I feel it could of been done better with the use of Xmodels, more appropriate textures and better lighting, and a few extra rooms.

Stop ripping other peoples work
(Image removed from quote.)
I was on the chat yesterday ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), when someone posted a link to these "Modern Perk Shaders", they looked pretty neat, but it was ProRevenge's comment that they didn't match the original zombies style that got me thinking, so I decided to remake them with the original zombie's badge (the part behind the perk icon).

While I did get the inspiration from Deadnaut who made the original Modern Perk Shaders, these are completely made by me and I did not use his as a base. You can download his ones here:  http://www.zombiemodding.com/index.php?topic=16593.0

Please take the time to read the post next time, I credited Deadnaut, he also holds no copyright over the original perks, not to mention his are a completely different shape.

And rip? Lol, like I said to you on the chat, these are completely made by me, I got the inspiration from him, but these were based off the original perks.
