UGH. After playing this map, whenever I try to play another one, it looks like the Napalm zombie is stalking me..
Method #1 is a console command:seta r_flamefx_enable 0
seta means the dvar value you are setting will be saved to your config.cfg
Method #2 is to edit the config.cfg yourself with the line given above, which is located in appdata/codwaw/profiles/yourname/
This has been asked multiple times now, please use the search-function next time.

I think this Topic has enough information help for new users who have problems. 
Probably you guys (Admins) need to close this topic with a message about search through the posts. 
OR.. Chroma has to update the topic with recurrent problemas and how to fix them.
