Every time I compile my map I always spawn in spectator mode with the compass as if Im spectating in Multiplayer.
I also get these random alien fonts too.

I've put down all of the Spawnpoints and script it right like this video tells me to.

I got that spectator mode thing when I've accidentally used the wrong mod for my map.

...which didn't have the map's GSC. You HAVE to have that or else it'll use some default setup.

Did you not use a script placer?

No I followed what the tutorial told me to download and do. Didnt know I need a script placer

Matter of fact I do have UGX script placer

Yeah, you need to use that. It'll generate all of the map specific files. No idea if the UGX one overwrites the mapfile so best to move it to the desktop and then copy it back into map_source when using it.

going to keep trying, if it keeps up for about a week I'll quit mapping
