My map freezes up for a few secs.

like when the map loads up it freezes for a few secs.

then when i get the monkey from the box and pick it up it freezes for a few secs.

Is there a solution to this?

Had issue similar once. Mine froze for two seconds every time I entered the second zone. It was a script issue for me. It kept trying to get an entity that I had a typo on, so it didn't exist. I think it happens when you have an error in your script and it takes a moment to get over it.

Sounds like you were playing around with the vox sound alias and you are missing the sounds for the monkeys and the start voxs. This happened to me, and it would lag every time that I got monkeys or start the level. Basically its trying to find a sound that you don't have, or you have removed.

how do i add those sounds back.

i check in dlc3 and there were 2 sounds commented so i got rid of the comments. but i still have the issues

I got the problem again on my new map. I can't remember on how i fixed it for my  previous map. Is there a way i c an find out what sound the map can't load?
