help with debugging zones

can someone help me with debugging some zones? whenever i open up a new zone it freezes and there no zombies will spawn in the new zone. ive checked multiple times and i dont have anything spelled wrong with my add_adjacent_zone section and there aren't any volumes touching each other in radiant. i also cant figure out how to get any of the zone_debuggers to work if anyone could help me with that too.

this is the zone script i have so far

That freeze is usually a script trying to get an ent that doesn't exist or a while loop with out any waits in it, or a call to a function that has a wait in it, instead of a thread to a function. The error last for about 2 seconds and then moves on. Since it happens when you open a new zone and no zombies spawn, I have to ask you to check all your kvps once again. If anyone of the kvps, door, trigger, zone volume, or spawner/riser, add_adjacent are off it will do that. I see this issue all the time. I fought it myself quite a bit. It is very annoying.

I've ran into situations before where they never figured it out, started a new map and copied everything over from the old map and it was fine, without them finding out why. I can only assume it was a script error then, but they didn't say.

I've never added the zone debugger so I can't help there.

Well their you go.
I have to ask you to check all your kvps once again. If anyone of the kvps, door, trigger, zone volume, or spawner/riser, add_adjacent are off it will do that.


Your kvps won't match if you don't have any spawners, lol. Good job figuring it out.
