Update: The server has been reset. The Map Manager should work now

It has been brought to my attention that the UGX Map Manager won't connect to our server. I checked the server status and it appears we've hit our monthly bandwidth cap of 2TB (2,000GB of data transferred in 28 days), which means the server is refusing connections.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do at this time, and the server should reset for the next month on March 3rd 2013. If we were to upgrade our bandwidth it would double the cost of our monthly download server cost, $15 to $30. We are not prepared to increase costs at this time (Donations are welcome but will not help with long-term expense).

We apologize for the inconvenience, and we will provide further updates when we get them.

wow, who wouldve thought that you would actually chew through 2tb of data, i know alot of people still download maps ect but didnt think that it would end up being that much  ???

Every download of a map is 150-220mb plus any patches, and also UGX Mod was released recently which is also 200mb per download. It adds up when you have a few thousand downloads in one month.

I download Comosea 10 times a day just to pad the #s, I guess I'll back it down a bit next month.

Our Box.com alternative is a Dropbox Pro account, which instead of enforcing a monthly bandwidth limit, they enforce a daily bandwidth limit, which is only on a per-file basis - this would mean links would be suspended for a much shorter amount of time

I'm pretty sure the current daily demand wouldn't exceed 200GB - that's about 1000 map downloads in one day, which would be rare even on a map's release day. Currently I am trying to decide if I want to go to the trouble of paying for March so that I can download all of the files from the  Box.com and upload them all to the Dropbox Pro account by hand... would take quite a while but would probably be worth it in the long run.

I added a widget to the homepage that automatically determines the bandwidth status of the download server. In any month besides February (because of the 3 day short month thing ), it will be able to automatically determine how many days remain until the bandwidth reset.

Also please note that the bandwidth should reset on March 3rd.

I have been having trouble lately with custom zombies installers. The problem (I think) is that the map goes into the mods folder on my profile. ===  COD WAW/players/*me/mods ===  How do I fix this? Because if I just drag in a .zip map, instead of the installer, it works fine =/ PLEASE HELP

the manager should ask you the file location if it cant find the default one.
